E TA left this review about The LOST Room
A fantastic addition to Lee-On-Solent’s pub scene, this excellent micro was welcoming, comfortable and convivial. It feels a bit out-of-the-box as a micro given the style and siting of the bar counter, beer taps and furniture, but that’s partly because the landlord and -lady, both very welcoming and chatty, have been around the pub scene for a while and know what works well; they run and have family connections in three other local pubs. The pub consists of two rooms, and the premises was previously an Oxfam shop. The seats and tables in the front room are formed from scaffold tubes, though the seat cushions are refurbished from London buses. More of these are in the back, plus some seats from an old hovercraft. Every table had a board game or set of dominoes on it, and there was a further stack of games in the corner. There were 2 ask ales on, fff Moondance and Newtown Golden, both in perfect condition and complemented with free nibbles. In addition there was a real cider on draft, plus two lagers and 5 craft ales. They operate a loyalty scheme. A perfect pairing for the Seafire Taproom just around the corner, and a definite for a compact crawl with other nearby pubs.
